LIPPED WIPER

This wiper style is similar to the slotted wiper, but it also includes an extra lip on the OD. In this case, the extra lip reduces ingression of foreign matter into the rod seal via the static side of the wiper. Primarily, it's used as a snap-in type wiper for medium duty applications.
